A defense technology firm based in Huntsville is seeking an Aviation Test Engineer to manage air vehicle testing programs. The ideal candidate will have a STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience, with responsibilities including test program design, budget management, and stakeholder coordination. Candidates must possess a SECRET security clearance and be eligible for TOP SECRET clearance. This position offers competitive compensation and the possibility of travel.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship and an active SECRET security clearance.
• Eligibility for a TOP SECRET clearance.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in related field.
• Experience supporting technical efforts for system/subsystem/component.
• Experience developing technical documents and evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing program conception and design.
• Manage scheduling and budget development.
• Perform stakeholder coordination and briefings.
• Attend and oversee test events.
• Complete test site surveys.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Experience with Army Manned and/or Unmanned Aviation platforms

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-field
