WesBanco, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale seeks an entry-level FIU Analyst to support the Financial Intelligence Unit within the Fraud, BSA and Security Admin Department.

You will monitor accounts and transactions, identify unusual activity, and analyze alerts from AML systems to detect potential money laundering or fraud. Responsibilities include creating cases from alerts, reviewing due diligence records, maintaining regulatory compliance, and participating in team training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or four years banking experience or equivalent.
• 2+ years of Banking experience preferred with a focus on BSA/AML or Operations a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to a regulated environment.

Responsabilités

• Investigates and analyzes system generated BSA/AML/Fraud alerts for suspicious activity.
• Creates cases from alerts for review by investigators and supervisors.
• Contacts banking center staff and customers on suspect items.
• Reviews CDD forms and CIP records for completeness.
• Analyzes customer history to ensure activities align with expectations.
• Ensures regulatory and bank requirements are met and completes training.
• Participates in team meetings and educational sessions.
