Position Summary

We are seeking a Junior Planner to join our team and support the lead advisor in various stages of the financial planning process. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow professionally in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, assisting in creating tailored financial plans and supporting the ongoing management of client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Support: Participate in client meetings to understand and document both qualitative and quantitative factors related to clients' goals.
• Data Entry & Analysis: Gather client information, input data into financial planning software, and assist in preparing comprehensive financial plans.
• Plan Presentation & Implementation: Aid the lead advisor in presenting financial plans to clients and assist with plan implementation and monitoring.
• Annual Reviews: Prepare and assist with the preparation of client annual reviews.
• Investment Committee Support: Assist with the quarterly rebalancing and loss-harvesting processes for client portfolios. Conduct annual reviews of model performance and evaluate component funds.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years of financial planning experience.
• Certifications: CFP and/or Series 65.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with financial planning software and industry-specific CRMs. Experience with Advyzon, Schwab Advisor, iRebal, eMoney Advisor, Holistiplan, SSAnalyzer, and YCharts is preferred.
• Financial Knowledge: Core knowledge of financial planning concepts and financial products.
• Technology: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Skills: Exceptional organizational, project management, and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
