Job summary

Safelite is hiring a Financial Analyst I to verify and reconcile financial data, prepare reports for stakeholders, ensure compliance, and assist with process improvement and the financial close.

You will monitor data, collect and analyze trends, generate standard scheduled reports, support monthly close activities, and perform cost/benefit and breakeven analyses for assigned projects.

This is an in-office role at Safelite Home Office in Columbus, OH with opportunities for growth and learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Less than 1 year of experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong Excel skills, including creating and managing pivot tables, performing data validation, and preparing accurate reports for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, verify, and reconcile data for the Finance Operations Department.
• Prepare and analyze financial operations reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Prepare various standard reports based on an established schedule.
• Assist with the monthly financial close process, which may include account reconciliations, variance analysis commentary, and system reconciliations.
• Conduct cost/benefit and breakeven analyses for various projects as assigned.
