Castro & Company seeks a Junior Financial Analyst to advance a public accounting career within a government audit setting. You will support contract audits for Federal Government clients and collaborate with a mentorship‑oriented Audit & Attest team.

The role emphasizes technical excellence, client service, and leadership development, with opportunities to grow responsibilities and contribute to high‑quality audit outcomes.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related business field from an accredited university.
• 1+ years of DCAA contract type audit or compliance experience.
• CPA, or eligible to sit for the CPA exam highly preferred.

Mansioni

• Manage audit requests and rate verifications.
• Prepare Indirect Rate Agreement Letters and Low-Risk Memos.
• Perform Incurred Cost Proposal Submission Adequacy Determinations and Contractor Disclosure Statement Adequacy Determinations.
• Perform Analyses of Contractor Proposed Provisional Billing Rates.
• Prepare and review Pre-Award Surveys of Contractor Accounting Systems.

What you’ll do in this role:

• Manage audit requests and rate verifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related business field from an accredited university

• Ability to lead audit tasks and effectively collaborate with team members and clients
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
• Security Clearance: Must be able to pass a basic government suitability check (US Citizenship required)

Salary Range:$65K-$75K
Final compensation will bedeterminedbased on a range of factors, including relevant experience, education, work location, security clearance level, certifications, and other factorspermittedby applicable law. Salary ranges listed reflect the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
