Job summary

SFC Energy LLC in Utah is seeking a Junior Finance Manager to support accounting operations, budgeting, and reporting. The role offers hands-on exposure to month-end close, internal controls, and collaboration with external CPAs.

The ideal candidate has a Finance or Accounting degree, 1–3 years of experience, and solid US GAAP knowledge. You will work closely with the Managing Director to drive accurate financial reporting in a fast-growing energy company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, internal control, forecasting, analysis, and accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP (IFRS knowledge is preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting packages.
• Lead day-to-day finance of SFC Energy LLC in collaboration with external CPA and controllership.
• Interact with operations across manufacturing and service departments.
• Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Support ESG reporting and governance activities.
• Assist with implementing new finance processes and post-go-live support.
• Adapt to shifting priorities across assignments.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the finance and accounting operations of SFC Energy LLC in Orem, Utah. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will gain hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting activities, reporting, and cross-department collaboration. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Experience with SAP s4hana preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office.

• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.

• You will lead and support the day-to-day finance of SFC Energy LLC by collaborating with external CPA, corporate controllership, operational finance.
• Interact with business operations across manufacturing and Service department.
• Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies independently.
• Lead financial compliance and governance activities for SFC Energy LLC, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and actively supporting ESG reporting, controls, and continuous improvement.
• Assist with implementing new finance processes and provide post-go-live support.
• Adapt to shifting priorities and offer finance expertise across a variety of assignments.
