Job summary

Communication Technology Services (CTS) is seeking a System Performance Engineer I for Southern California. This entry-level role focuses on field-based tasks, including commissioning and optimization of DAS and repeaters, data collection, and basic troubleshooting.

You will be paired with a senior engineer, travel up to 90% in the field, and rapidly learn RF concepts, systems, and standard testing equipment to support deployments across enterprise networks.

Qualifications

• Basic computing skills required.
• 1 year in wireless or related tech field.
• Willingness to travel regionally; 90% field work.

Responsibilities

• Repeater commissioning and optimization.
• DAS commissioning and optimization.
• Performing site surveys.
• BM and post-install data collection.
• Troubleshooting basic systems.
• Data packing according to standards.
• Weekly reports/updates.
• Learn RF math for DAS design/commissioning/optimization.
