Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence invites applications for a Junior Field Service Engineer. Responsibilities

  • Complete a structured technical training programme covering Hexagon products, systems, safety standards, and customer service.
  • Install, commission, calibrate, maintain, and repair industrial inspection equipment at customer locations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service activities.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and software-related issues.
  • Support equipment commissioning, system upgrades, and customer acceptance activities.
  • Assist senior Field Service Engineers with complex service interventions.
  • Deliver professional technical support both remotely and on-site.
  • Build positive customer relationships through responsive, high-quality service.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to customers.
  • Provide operator guidance and basic user training.
  • Support customer satisfaction by delivering work safely, professionally, and on schedule.
  • Complete service reports and maintenance records accurately.
  • Maintain service records in accordance with company quality procedures.
  • Record equipment history and technical findings.
  • Escalate complex technical issues appropriately.
  • Follow HSEQ requirements.
  • Report safety concerns.
  • Maintain company tools and vehicles.

As a Junior Field Service Engineer, you will begin your career delivering technical service and support for Hexagon's advanced industrial inspection systems. Following a comprehensive technical training programme, you will install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair complex inspection equipment while providing exceptional customer service across a wide range of industrial environments.

Working alongside experienced Field Service Engineers, you will develop the technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and customer relationship capabilities needed to become a trusted technical advisor while supporting customers throughout the lifecycle of their equipment. This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity to build a long-term engineering career within Hexagon's global service organisation.

Job Responsibilities
Field Service Delivery
  • Complete a structured technical training programme covering Hexagon products, systems, safety standards, and customer service.

This position may require extensive domestic and international travel, overnight travel, work at customer industrial facilities, lifting equipment within company safety requirements, working around industrial equipment, and schedule flexibility.

Qualifications

  • Experience reading schematics and drawings.
  • Knowledge of industrial X-ray, CT, metrology, or inspection systems.
