Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking an Engineer Field Service - Junior to join our Test and Training Team in Huntsville, AL.

The role requires an active Secret clearance and hands-on support for RF communications, electronics, and IT networking within the IBDS II contract at Redstone Arsenal. You will perform maintenance, installations, testing, and documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams across engineering, testing, production, logistics, and sustainment.

Qualifications

• AA/AS with 3-5 years of experience; more years may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Knowledge of fault analysis, troubleshooting and repair of C4I systems and RF equipment.
• Strong technical writing and ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Distinguish between hardware and software issues in multi-vendor systems.
• Install, test, and perform preventive maintenance on RF/electronics equipment, servers, switches, and routers.
• Troubleshoot failures using test data and collaborate with design engineers.
• Perform maintenance on mobile trailer-mounted masts and payloads.
• Assist with site surveys and system installations/de-installations.
• Update work orders and maintain accurate records.
