Qualifications

• Enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, a relevant undergraduate degree in Civil (Geotechnical/Hydrotechnical/General) or Geological Engineering, Geoscience, Geology, Geophysics or a related field
• 0-5 years of experience
• Excellent written, presentation and oral communications
• MS Office skills
• A second language is an asset
• A post-graduate degree is an asset

Responsibilities

• Support a wide variety of clients in the mining, pipelines, transportation, energy, and community sectors, under guidance of technical experts
• Field work includes site investigations, drilling, downhole testing, lab testing, geophysical surveys, instrumentation installation, river/stream inspection, geohazard assessment, and construction monitoring
• Office work includes reporting and interpretation of field data, engineering or geoscience analysis, material and site characterization, interpretation of instrumentation data, and design contributions
