The role focuses on effective team communication, presenting compelling estimates and feasibility studies, and guiding customers through complex bids with strong attention to detail. You will read schematics and manuals, stay current on building components and regulatory requirements, and help foster repeat business through excellent customer service and technical

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively as part of a team and understand sales and negotiating techniques.
• Develop and deliver presentations.
• Develop and present building estimates and feasibility studies.
• Read schematics blueprints andor technical manuals.
• Maintain technical knowledge of building components and their function.
• Knowledge of building components life cycle values and maintenance requirements.
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
• Ability to provide technical guidance andor supervision to architects, structural engineers and independent building contractors.
• Knowledge of the operating practices of construction, architectural and building firms.
• Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local building codes, ordinances and regulations.
• Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements.
• Ability to make complex operating, administrative and procedural decisions.
• Knowledge of procurement rules and regulations.
• Ability to assess contract compliance and product/service quality.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating and fiscal management principles and procedures.
