Job summary

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. is seeking a Junior Estimator to join our design and project support team. The Junior Estimator will take off material, equipment, and labor from drawings and generate a detailed proposal after takeoff.

Change orders will be produced as needed from Project Managers. The role requires reviewing full drawing sets, sending fixtures to vendors for pricing, preparing a bill of materials, and estimating labor hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year College Degree.
• Must know how to use MS Office and read blueprints.
• HVAC/Plumbing estimation experience preferable.

Responsibilities

The Junior Estimator will be Responsible for Taking Off Material, Equipment, and Labor from Drawings Accurately from Company’s Estimating Software. A Detailed Proposal will be Generated after Takeoff is Completed. The Junior Estimator will also Generate Change Orders as needed from Project Managers.

• Send Out all Fixtures and Equipment to Vendors for Pricing.
• Use Specified Material for the Assembly of the Project.
• Prepare Bill of Material.
• Prepare Labor Hours from The Estimate.

Education, Qualities & Skills required

• Minimum 2-year College Degree
• HVAC/Plumbing Estimation Experience Preferable
• Must know how to use MS Office and Possess the Ability to Read and Interpret Blueprints.

Compensation:

$ 60,000 Annually

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:00AM –5:00PM
