Job summary

Ragle Inc. is seeking a Jr. Estimator to join the Dallas/Fort Worth team in North Richland Hills, TX. The role supports electrical estimating and involves reviewing plans, performing quantity takeoffs, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

You will work with experienced estimators to develop cost estimates, identify risks, and contribute to bid packages. In-person, field exposure and site visits may be part of duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 1+ years of estimating, construction, engineering, or related experience.
• Interest in electrical construction and estimating.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with estimating or takeoff software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate estimating documentation and historical cost information.

Ragle Inc. is seeking a Jr. Estimator to join our Dallas/Fort Worth team. This position will primarily support electrical estimating and is ideal for an engineering professional who is detail-oriented, analytical, team-focused, and interested in developing a career in construction estimating.

The Jr. Estimator will work alongside experienced estimators to review project plans and specifications, perform quantity takeoffs, develop cost estimates, and coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with estimating electrical scopes for assigned bids and projects
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope
• Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with developing labor, material, and equipment costs

Field Exposure

• Participate in site visits during the bidding phase to better understand project scope and existing conditions

• Work hours and field involvement may vary based on project needs

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Electrical Engineering is preferred
• 1+ years of estimating, construction, engineering, or related experience preferred but not required
• Interest in electrical construction and estimating
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
