Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree requirement or equivalent experience for construction estimation roles
• Experience with cost estimation and pricing processes is beneficial
• Knowledge of construction methodologies and industry practices

Responsibilities

• Completes time, cost, and labor estimates for assigned projects
• Provides on-going cost estimate support to operations for awarded contracts
• Prepares pricing, bids and proposals for projects
• Executes project transition activities and cost management
• Assists with cost estimates on changes during construction
• Contributes to a safe work environment and participates in training/certifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Summary

The Junior Estimator is responsible for prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for assigned projects, applying knowledge of specialized methodologies, techniques, principles, and/or processes. For awarded contracts, the Junior Estimator provides on-going cost estimate support to operations.
