Job summary

Advanced Technology and Research Corporation is seeking a full-time ESD engineer based in Indian Head, Maryland. The successful candidate will work with the Engineering Services Division, supporting the US Navy's Warfare technology and engaging in hands-on testing of ordnance systems.

This position requires a B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering and experience with ordnance and explosives is preferred. The role includes competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including 401(k) and paid leave.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Experience with ordnance and/or energetics preferred.
• Job experience with Navy or DoD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work on ESD testing and evaluation for US Navy ordnance systems.
• Develop test plans, schedule tests, and submit reports.
• Resolve technical ESD issues.
