Job summary

Advanced Technology & Research Corporation (ATR) is seeking an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) engineer for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division, Indian Head, MD. On-site with occasional weekly work-from-home, you will join the Engineering Services Division and work on world-class military programs that support US Navy warfare tech.

Qualifications

• B.S. Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Experience or familiarity with ordnance and/or energetics is preferred.
• Navy or DoD experience is plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform ESD testing, evaluation, and analysis of US Navy/USMC weapon systems.
• Develop test plans and schedule tests.
• Submit test reports and resolve ESD issues.
• Work on-site with ESD and Ordnance Electrical Safety Engineering team, with some off-site weekly work.
