Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services in East Longmeadow, MA is seeking a Lab Technician to join our environmental testing laboratory and help advance our mission to protect health and the environment.

You’ll prepare water and soil samples, follow established prep procedures, handle solvents, and keep accurate documentation and databases. We offer full-time hours (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with a starting rate of $18.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, stand for long periods, work around strong smells, and wear PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves).
• Experience in a lab or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare water and soil samples prior to analysis.
• Follow established sample preparation procedures.
• Work with solvents and chemicals for sample prep.
• Maintain and update documentation and databases.
