Job summary

Pace Analytical Services LLC is seeking a Lab Technician for our East Longmeadow, MA laboratory. This onsite role focuses on preparing water and soil samples and supporting scientists with established preparation procedures.

You will work with solvents and chemicals, maintain documentation, and contribute to accurate data management in a full-time, on-site capacity. Training is provided to grow a career in environmental testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, stand for long periods, work around strong smells, and wear PPE.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support our Scientists by preparing water and soil samples prior to analysis.
• Follow a variety of established sample preparation procedures.
• Work with various solvents and chemicals for the preparation of samples.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
