Avangrid's New York operating companies NYSEG and RG&E seek an entry level Associate Engineer to support EM&V for Non-Wires and Non-Pipes Alternatives within NY. This role involves engineering analysis, scenario configuration, and model runs to identify technology options addressing system needs.

You will assist with distribution studies, cost analyses, and regulatory compliance while working in a team to deliver safe project execution. Rochester or Binghamton office-based positions available.

Qualifications

• BS or BT in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 0–2 years of industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electric distribution system design and modeling.

Responsabilités

• Assist with EM&V for NWA/NPA projects and models.
• Support procurement activities including RFP development and Q&A.
• Perform distribution system analyses and cost/benefit modeling.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to implement improvements.
