Junior Engineer at RealmOne. Columbia, MD. Software Engineering, implementing hardware and software, testing and modification.

Shift Work

Candidate must be willing to work a rotating shift of 7 AM – 7 PM hour shift rotating monthly to 7 PM – 7 PM.

Responsibilities

• Support a range of analytical products and functions to allow for development of signal exploitation capabilities.
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Analyze hardware specifications and system/subsystem requirements to conceive and document a practical design for hardware components to include servers, network devices, transmission media, storage devices, user interface devices, and special processors
• Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
• Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one (1) year engineering experience is required. BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical field can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
• A BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical field is strongly preferred.

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.

Pay Range

82,000-123,000
