Job summary

Hydrogen UK Ltd in Juno Beach, Florida is seeking an Engineer-Level 1 to support utility-scale energy projects, including solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and power plant operations. This 12-month contract role focuses on applying engineering principles to studies, analysis and documentation.

The successful candidate will develop technical reports, assist with project coordination, and ensure designs meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of relevant engineering experience required.
• Strong analytical, communication and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with engineering and project teams.
• Interest or experience in solar, BESS, power generation or utility-scale energy projects is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering data, develop technical documentation and provide technical support to engineers and technicians.
• Support engineering studies and analysis to solve moderate-difficulty technical assignments.
• Prepare job cost estimates, pole bore details, NJUNS forms and other required engineering documents and reports for construction and maintenance projects.
• Assist with project coordination, planning, performance tracking and reporting.
• Support engineering activities associated with utility-scale solar, BESS and power plant operations.
• Help ensure engineering designs and deliverables meet project specifications, safety requirements and applicable engineering standards.
• Support technical analysis, project coordination and engineering oversight under the direction of experienced engineers.
• Develop knowledge of engineering standards, project processes and technical requirements.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and collaborative work environment.
