Macquarie Global Services in Houston is seeking an energetic Junior Energy Quantitative Analyst to join the Commodities and Global Markets group, focusing on derivatives pricing and physical asset modelling.

You will support senior quants and trading desks by developing production-grade models for energy valuation and asset optimization, and contribute to pricing tools, scenario analysis, and risk management.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in quantitative, analytical, or financial modeling.
• A strong academic background with a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline.
• Proficiency in Python; exposure to C++/SQL preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of energy markets and quantitative techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent opportunity to develop deep quantitative and commercial expertise with a global team.

Responsibilities

• Provide quantitative support to traders, risk managers, and desks.
