Enerlife Consulting is seeking a junior mechanical engineer focused on building performance. You will work with BAS data, utility data, and field investigations to identify energy-saving opportunities and improve occupant comfort.
You'll assist with recommissioning, decarbonization studies, and performance tracking, collaborating with engineers and clients across projects in healthcare, universities, and commercial facilities.
At Enerlife Consulting, we believe exceptional building performance begins with understanding how building systems actually operate, not just how they were designed.
Our team combines mechanical engineering expertise with building operations knowledge and data analytics to improve the performance of existing buildings. Using building automation system (BAS) data, interval utility meter data, field investigations, and engineering analysis, we identify practical opportunities to reduce energy use, lower carbon emissions, improve occupant comfort, and optimize building performance.
We work with hospitals, municipalities, universities, school boards, commercial real estate owners, and institutional clients. Our projects span recommissioning, building optimization, decarbonization, electrification, controls optimization, and capital planning.
If you're curious about how buildings work and excited about using engineering and data to solve real‑world problems, this role is for you.
