Job summary

KBR, Inc in Houston seeks an Entry-Level EMU Suit Technician to test and maintain EMU Training Suits and components for NBL training events. You will follow documented procedures and support engineering with fit checks and other tasks alongside a team of technicians.

Responsibilities include maintenance, assembly, testing, repair of hardware, applying engineering changes, and performing functional tests of EMU components and EVA hardware.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and technical training.
• Able to read and interpret WADs and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with pressure systems.
• Excellent oral and written communications; read and interpret work documents.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, assembly, testing, repair and processing of hardware to support events and deliverables; incorporate engineering changes and perform functional tests of EMU components and EVA hardware.
• Interface with other technicians, engineering, logistics and bond room personnel daily to perform duties.
• Maintain and repair EMU training hardware; work from drawings/schematics and equipment specifications.
• Assist other team members with suit processing and checklist verification.
