Job summary

RTX in Fort Wayne, IN seeks an Engineer to design, develop and test advanced Electronic Warfare and sensor systems. You will contribute to RF systems development, requirements management, and IV&V across programs.

The role requires a STEM degree and experience with radio/radar concepts, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills. Onsite work with occasional travel, and a DoD Secret clearance is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields before start date.
• Academic or extracurricular work with radio, comms, or radar systems.
• Experience presenting system design and test results to stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze and implement solutions under moderate uncertainty.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and participate in requirements decomposition.
• Support system integration, test, verification, and production fault handling.
• Provide engineering oversight to lab tests, evaluation and analysis of issues.
• Support customer inquiries, field failures, and product transitions.
• Evaluate performance of developmental EW systems and signal processing subsystems.
• Balance multiple commitments with limited oversight; travel up to 20%.
