Qualifications

• A minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Coursework in energy systems, including three phase power, is required
• 0-4 years of experience in Architecture and Engineering field
• A positive and professional attitude that is centered on personal development to take advantage of all the career advancement opportunities within the department

Responsibilities

• Prepare load calculations, specify, and coordinate layouts of electrical equipment, and perform power, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, communications, and fire alarm system design, and produce construction documents using REVIT or AutoCAD under the direction and supervision of senior engineers
• Perform basic electrical calculations such as: short circuit and voltage drop
• Perform photometry calculations for normal and emergency lighting using lighting calculation software
• Visit construction sites to review, monitor, and report construction progress
• Follow the department's quality control vision through performing designer checks on construction documents
• Participate in the department training plan and the firm's mentorship program
