Job summary

CACI is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to support NSWC Crane with the U.S. government. The role involves developing electrical system concepts, coordinating documentation, and ensuring on-time delivery of quality products.

Qualifications include US citizenship for DoD Secret clearance, ABET-accredited engineering degree, and strong communication and project-tracking skills. Travel up to 50% across the Continental US may be required.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Experience with tracking project deliverables, milestones, and schedules for systems or software delivery programs.
• Experience with requirements generation, traceability, review and tracking.
• Experience with program management, Readiness reviews, and Governance boards.
• Excellent technical writing and data presentation skills.
• Ability to work and communicate at multiple levels from senior leadership to installation teams.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competent writing and oral communication skills.
• Ensure quality products and services are delivered to the customer.
• Define electrical system implementation approach and operational concepts. Develop models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development.
• Provide technical inputs related to the implementation of system architecture by other staff.
• Support electrical system analyses at all levels for total system product integration to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
• Attend project meetings as assigned.
• Project coordination and Document Control, to include responsibility for generation and review of technical documentation.
• Closely monitor project team, performance, to include vendors, to ensure technical rigor and that materials and parts will be delivered on time and that the end product will meet customer needs.
