Saalex Corporation is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer in Ridgecrest/China Lake, CA to join a multidisciplinary team. You will assist with design, development, integration, and testing of electrical and electronic systems for government and commercial projects, and contribute to technical documentation.

The role involves performing analyses, supporting hardware installation, and collaborating across engineering disciplines. A Secret clearance is required for this position.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional engineering experience.
• Experience with electrical design, testing, integration, or troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and specs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Saalex is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer in Ridgecrest/China Lake, CA to support the design, development, integration, testing, and sustainment of electrical and electronic systems. The selected candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team supporting government and commercial projects involving system design, analysis, testing, and technical documentation.

Essential Functions

• Assist with the design, development, and integration of electrical and electronic systems and components.
• Support system testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
• Prepare engineering drawings, schematics, technical reports, and other project documentation.
• Perform electrical analysis, calculations, and evaluations under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support hardware installation, integration, and configuration efforts.
• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and customer briefings.
• Assist in the development of engineering specifications and test procedures.
• Conduct research and evaluate emerging technologies to support project requirements.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams.
• Support compliance with applicable industry, military, and regulatory standards.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Security Clearance

Active Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
