Saalex is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer for Ridgecrest/China Lake, CA to support the design, development, testing, integration, and sustainment of mechanical systems and equipment. The role collaborates with engineers, technicians, and project teams to ensure successful execution of technical programs.

The position is full-time and onsite with a salary range of $88k–$115k depending on experience. Active Secret clearance not specified here.

Junior Mechanical Engineer (Finance)

Saalex is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer in Ridgecrest/China Lake, CA to support engineering projects involving the design, development, testing, integration, and sustainment of mechanical systems and equipment. The selected candidate will work closely with engineers, technicians, and project teams to support the successful execution of technical programs.

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $88k-$115k annually (depending on experience)

Work Location: Onsite.

Essential Functions:

• Assist with the design, analysis, and development of mechanical systems and components.
• Support fabrication, installation, integration, and testing activities.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Desired

• Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
• Familiarity with electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, OrCAD, Altium, or similar tools.
• Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and signal analyzers.
• Knowledge of system integration and verification processes.
• Familiarity with military standards and engineering documentation practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related engineering desired.

Security Clearance

Active Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
