Job summary

Hanley Energy, based in Ashburn, Virginia, is seeking a Jr. Electrical Commissioning Agent to join the US East Region and support the Lead Electrical Cx Engineer on AMER projects. You will assist with site activities, commissioning tasks, and documentation while learning the trade and contributing to on-time delivery of critical power systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration with senior engineers, hands-on commissioning, and documentation control across multiple sites, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of Electrical Power Systems and working in a regulated industry.
• Fluent in English and eligible to work in the USA (passport or visa).
• Strong stakeholder and team management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
• Ability to collaborate in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the Electrical Lead Cx Eng with assigned projects across AMER.
• Support Cx Engineers with site activities.
• Actively participate in commissioning activities and learn the trade.
• Achieve career milestones as set by CX Lead.
• Provide coordinated support to third-party commissioning agents.
• Produce documentation per company/customer procedures.
• Provide technical support to the client and third-party agents.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
• Provide on-call support for critical product lines.
• Produce progress reports and coordinate with Engineering for improvements.
