The position is for a Junior Drainage/Water Resources Engineer to develop expertise through hands-on work on high-impact infrastructure projects and collaboration with senior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on experience with high-impact infrastructure projects.
- Learn from senior engineers and industry experts.
- Participate in mentorship, training, and professional development.
- Work on real-world projects shaping communities and transportation networks.
- Utilize production software to support design and analysis.
- Conduct data collection, impact studies, and cost analyses for projects.
- Assist in preparation of project documents, specifications, and reports.
- Develop drawings, visual aids, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Perform field reviews and site observations on active construction projects.
- Research engineering applications and industry best practices to support project development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
- 3+ years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Engineer Intern (EI) strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
- Proficiency in engineering production software and construction document preparation.
- Passion for engineering with a growth mindset and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, contractors, and team members.
