Mid-Atlantic Mechanical in Millstone Township, NJ, seeks a Junior Draftsman to assist with preparing, revising, and organizing mechanical and construction drawings using Revit, aiming to grow drafting skills within our mechanical contracting team.

You will collaborate with drafting, engineering, project management and field teams to ensure drawings are accurate, properly annotated, and meet project requirements, while maintaining documentation and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating, modifying, and maintaining mechanical and construction drawings using Revit.
• Add and maintain annotations, dimensions, notes, labels, and other drawing details.
• Review drawings for accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
• Interpret architectural, engineering, and construction drawings and specifications.
• Revise drawings based on project changes and field conditions.
• Organize and maintain drawing files, revisions, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, field personnel, and other team members to coordinate drawings and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform quality-control checks to ensure drawings are accurate and properly annotated.
• Maintain project deadlines and prioritize multiple drafting assignments.
