Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a Junior DevSecOps Engineer to help design, secure, and automate delivery pipelines. You will contribute to CI/CD workflows that unify build, test, security, and deployment across cloud and on‑prem environments.

You will work with senior engineers to implement infrastructure‑as‑code patterns, observability, and standardized toolchains, enabling resilient, compliant deployments through a secure, service‑macing approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 0–3 years in DevSecOps/DevOps, cloud, or platform engineering roles.
• Fundamental understanding of infrastructure components, cloud capabilities, and software-defined practices with automation/configuration management exposure.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies and CI/CD tooling for scalable, cost-effective solutions in an as-a-service model.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust investigation and U.S. citizenship for this remote federal IT position.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines automating build, test, security scanning, and deployment.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code templates to provision cloud and on-premises environments.
• Integrate security baselines, policy checks, and monitoring into pipelines.
• Collaborate with teams to standardize DevSecOps toolchains for an as-a-service model.
• Support auto-provisioning of compute, storage, and networks using automation tools.
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, and environment issues; document root causes for pipeline improvement.
• Create and maintain documentation for pipelines and DevSecOps procedures.
