Job summary

ThreatLocker is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to assist in automating software development, deployment, and infrastructure operations in an in-office role in Orlando, FL. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance reliability, efficiency, and scalability of our systems.

Responsibilities include deploying and monitoring, maintaining on-site infrastructure with Docker/Hyper-V, and implementing security and configuration management practices.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of networking, security, and system administration fundamentals.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software release process.
• Maintain and improve onsite-based infrastructure (VM, Docker, Hyper‑V).
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
• Support configuration management using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Chef.
• Assist in managing containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of DevOps practices.
• Implement security best practices and compliance measures.
• Document processes, configurations, and system changes.
