Job summary

ThreatLocker is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer in Orlando, FL to assist in automating software development, deployment, and infrastructure operations. The role is in-office and will work closely with development and operations teams to improve reliability, efficiency, and scalability.

Responsibilities include automating deployments, maintaining on-site infrastructure (VM, Docker, Hyper-V), and contributing to CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Linux/Unix and Windows systems.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure or GCP cloud platforms.
• Fundamental networking, security and sysadmin concepts.
• Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in automating deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to streamline releases.
• Maintain and improve onsite infrastructure (VM, Docker, Hyper-V).
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
• Support configuration management using Ansible, Terraform, or Chef.
• Assist in managing containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices.
• Implement security best practices and compliance measures.
• Document processes, configurations, and system changes.
