Overview

We are seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs in delivering innovative, mission‑critical solutions. In this role, you’ll help streamline the software development lifecycle from requirements to production monitoring. You’ll leverage automation, open‑source tools, and cloud resources to reduce manual tasks and enable innovation. This is an opportunity to expand your skills in automation, cloud‑based development, and DevSecOps practices.

Note: This position includes participation in an on‑call rotation (one week every 4–6 weeks).

Education & Certification Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent.
• Substitution: 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.

Clearance Requirements

• Ability to obtain VA Medium‑Background Investigation clearance.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Knowledge of security scanning tools and vulnerability remediation.
