About the Role

Black Squirrel Collaborative Inc. is seeking a Junior Developer for BizScoreLine. This role is ideal for a junior technologist with strong development experience, particularly with PHP‑based systems. You will help steer the platform’s short‑term development and long‑term scalability, security, and technical strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new features, modernize the existing PHP/MySQL codebase, and improve modularity, scalability, and QA practices.
• Enhance code quality and improve documentation.
• Ensure all analytics and reporting data used across the platform is clean, accurate, and reliable.

Time Commitment

• Estimated 20 hours per week (flexible based on project needs)
• Weekly team meetings
• Availability for ad hoc consultations by mutual agreement

Compensation

• Payment will be negotiable
• Required to invoice accounting department by the 30th of each month.
• Invoice payment will be issued on the 15th of the following month.
• Electronic payment only
