Job summary

Wpromote is hiring a Junior Data Scientist who loves solving problems with data and has strong math, logic, and communication skills. You will support data processing, model updates, and analytics reporting while learning advanced techniques that will grow your impact over time.

Collaborate with Engineering, Reporting, Product, Paid Media, and Data Science teams to turn data into meaningful insights for e-commerce, retail, and entertainment clients.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python or R for data cleaning, modeling, and pipelines.
• Experience with statistical modeling, ML techniques, and LLMs.
• Strong SQL including advanced functions; data wrangling and querying.
• Advanced Excel/Sheets skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with at least one BI tool (Looker preferred).
• Version control familiarity (Git/Bitbucket).
• Ability to balance multiple client requests and manage large datasets.
• Solid foundation in statistics, probability, and linear algebra.
• Strong communication skills for presenting insights.

Responsibilities

• Transform, improve, and integrate data per business needs.
• Plan and scope end-to-end data analysis projects.
• Use SQL/BigQuery to combine datasets from multiple sources.
• Deliver data clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain media-mix models with retrains and reporting.
• Collect and organize results from analyses to support learning culture.
• Support client and internal presentations with data pull and analyses.
• Automate data gathering, blending, and transformation processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Reporting, Product, Paid Media, and Data Science teams.
