Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required; Master’s preferred in related fields.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages (Python, R, Java, C++).
• Experience applying data science methods to real-world data problems.
• Experience with NLP, ML, data mining, or related techniques.
• Experience with cloud-based ML platforms and data pipelines.
• TS/SCI clearance preferred; SECRET clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze data using exploratory mathematic and statistical techniques.
• Coordinate research and analytic activities across structured and unstructured data; program to clean and organize data.
• Experiment with data points; provide insights and innovative solutions.
• Coordinate with Data Engineers to build data environments.
• Apply statistics and algorithms to identify and frame problems and opportunities.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive models, NLP, RPA, text mining, clustering and forecasting.
• Design automated processes for data manipulation and analysis; integrate large datasets.
• Use Spark and Hadoop for large-scale processing; create visualizations with Tableau/Power BI/R Shiny.
• Communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
