SteerBridge is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to support the Marine Corps Logistics GPN program. This role assists the Senior Analyst with data preparation, scripting, and basic models to support logistics and operational decision-making in a mission-focused environment.

This early-career position offers the chance to work with DoD data, collaborate with a small data team, and develop dashboards and automated reporting using Python, R, and SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–4 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with basic data visualization tools.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a technical team.

Responsibilities

• Data Preparation & Analysis: Perform foundational data preparation and cleansing to support analytics and reporting.
• Scripting & Automation: Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine data processing and queries; write SQL queries.
• Data Visualization & Reporting: Create basic dashboards and data visualizations; support reporting for stakeholders.
• Team Collaboration: Work with the Senior Analyst and other team members to support objectives.
