Job summary

Dealer Tire LLC is seeking a Data Scientist to lead advanced modeling and analytics initiatives. You will build and deploy statistical and machine learning models, transform data with SQL/Python, and contribute to data science products and pipelines in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of experience in data science or a related role, strong Python and SQL skills, and familiarity with modern data platforms and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or related area.
• Advanced degree preferred for higher responsibilities.
• 0–2 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles (or advanced degree).
• Strong Python coding and foundational statistics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform Advanced Modeling & Analysis on datasets and projects.
• Develop and implement statistical and machine learning models (regression, classification, clustering, forecasting).
• Write SQL and Python transformations to create usable datasets from raw data sources.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and data science workflows with reproducibility in mind.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers, and business partners.
