Junior Data Integrity Specialist (Hybrid)

Starting Salary Range: $52,000 - $61,000

The State Corporation Commission (SCC) seeks a motivated and public service-oriented Junior Data Integrity Specialist to add value to our Clerk’s Office Quality Assurance and Testing team. This entry level position supports meaningful work that involves assisting with performing manual system testing, quality assurance, data validation, and quality control for the Clerk’s Office systems. The Junior Data Integrity Specialist will also collaborate with third-party vendors and internal users to ensure all Clerk’s Office systems are operating as expected. This position offers a hybrid work schedule (generally 3 days of telework, 2 days in office each week) as well as on the job training, professional development opportunities, and career growth.

The job responsibilities of this Junior Data Integrity Specialist position will include the following:

• Perform data validation and manual, functional, and regression testing on systems.
• Conduct analysis of processes, services, and output.
• Conduct internal assessments and audits of systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or professional experience with quality assurance, manual system testing, business analysis, and/or quality control. Without a related bachelor’s degree, approximately 4 years of related experience is a minimum requirement.
• Some knowledge of quality assurance standards and measures.
• Ability to perform manual testing.
• Desire to learn automated testing (writing test plans, creating test scripts, reviewing results, etc.) and learn tools such as Playwright and Visual Studio.
• Ability to review and analyze systems and data while exhibiting strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively individually and as a member of a team.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to think critically and suggest recommendations.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and related applications.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Commission staff, industry personnel, and the general public.
• Ability to work with end users to establish, document and validate system requirements.
