Job summary

MAP, part of WPP Enterprise Solutions, is seeking an Associate Data Engineer to join our Data Insights and Science team. You will work with senior engineers to build data pipelines, leverage cloud platforms, and support marketing analytics initiatives.

You will write SQL/Python, integrate data from various sources, monitor ETL flows, and collaborate with CRM developers, data scientists, and product owners to deliver clean, reliable data for targeted campaigns.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Strong coding skills in Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Knowledge of core ETL/ELT processes and relational databases.
• Basic exposure to cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and modern data stack tools.
• Familiarity with version control tools like GitHub/Git.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying, collecting, and integrating data from various sources by building and maintaining reliable data pipelines and models for BI/analytics.
• Writing clean SQL and code (Python, Spark, etc.) to optimize data workflows under senior guidance.
• Helping monitor daily ETL flows and data quality tools.
• Assisting in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving data pipeline incidents.
• Collaborating with CRM developers, data scientists, data analysts, and product owners to deliver high-quality data.
• Learning best practices in cloud data architecture, migrations, and data management.
