Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of data solutions across the organization. You will work with senior data engineers, architects, analysts, and stakeholders to help build data pipelines, improve data quality, and ensure reliable access to data.

This role focuses on learning cloud-based data technologies, contributing to Azure-based data solutions, and following DevOps and CI/CD practices to deliver reliable analytics.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Data Analytics or related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Basic understanding of database concepts and SQL.
• Experience with Python or scripting languages.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, testing, and maintenance of data pipelines.
• Support data collection, transformation, and loading from source systems.
• Perform data profiling and identify data quality issues.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and data transformations.
• Validate data accuracy and support production troubleshooting.
• Document technical specifications and data mappings.
• Contribute to Azure-based data solutions and DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders.
