Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience and strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, particularly with Azure Databricks, PySpark, Azure Data Factory, and SQL. You will work closely with senior data engineers and business stakeholders to build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure in a cloud-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and PySpark on Azure Databricks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements.
• Implement data transformations, cleansing, and aggregations using PySpark and SQL.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and ensure data integrity and availability.
• Assist in performance tuning of data pipelines and queries.
• Work with Azure-based data storage solutions such as Data Lake Storage and SQL Databases.
• Document data flows, pipeline architecture, and technical procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure and data engineering tools and best practices.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience or strong academic understanding of the Azure cloud platform, especially Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake.
