SiloSmashers, Inc. is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to support a government client by collecting, organizing, reviewing, and analyzing data to identify trends and produce actionable insights for decision-making.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data management tools, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced federal environment while maintaining security protocols. Physical attendance at the customer site is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with two or more years of general office assistant experience.
• Three years or more of Data Analytical experience on data management activities and Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Microsoft Access, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Must maintain an active Top Secret clearance.
• Competence to review, interpret, and evaluate complex legal and non-legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ad hoc data projects and analyses that produce actionable recommendations that build relevant insights for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collect data and run basic reports in response to client inquiries.
• Work closely with key internal stakeholders to ensure sound knowledge of client requirements to support development of best-in-class analytical solutions.
• Accurately enter required data into one or more databases, documents and/or spreadsheets.

Position Overview

SiloSmashers is hiring a Junior Data Analyst to provide analytical, research, and data management support for a government customer. This position supports mission-critical operations by collecting, organizing, reviewing, and analyzing data to identify trends, develop reports, and provide actionable insights that support operational and strategic decision-making. The Junior Data Analyst will work collaboratively with government personnel and internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, respond to data inquiries, maintain accurate records, and support ad hoc analytical projects. Responsibilities include preparing reports, briefings, and presentations; maintaining databases and spreadsheets; and reviewing complex legal and non-legal documents to support research and analytical activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and research skills, attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant data management tools, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced federal environment. Success in this role requires professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and adherence to established procedures and security protocols.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and reporting.
• Experience supporting data collection, quality assurance, and database maintenance.
• Strong written communication skills, including preparation of reports, briefings, and presentations.
• Ability to research, review, and interpret complex legal and non-legal documents.
• Experience working in a federal government, law enforcement, or other regulated environment.
