You will analyze security log data, produce actionable intelligence for routine cyber operations and incident handling, using specialized tools, and contribute to monitoring threat activity and researching issues.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing cybersecurity risks in lab environments or cybersecurity internships
• Knowledge of threat monitoring technology, SIEM concepts, and basic networking (TCP/IP, subnets, ports)
• Ability to research routine technical issues, learn new security tools, and document findings clearly
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Experience with scripting or querying languages such as Python, Bash, or SQL used to process or analyze security logs
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework or NIST SP publications
• Ability to collaborate in team-based environments to escalate and resolve issues
• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
• CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or Network+ Certification
