Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience, or 4 years in lieu.
• Fundamentals of networking and security principles.
• Experience evaluating system security configurations.
• Familiarity with common Web application vulnerabilities (SQLi, XSS, CSRF, HTTP Flood).
• Experience with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap.
• Understanding of routing & switching and device configurations.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis on findings.
• Must possess and maintain one of specified certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support the Penetration Testing (Red Cell) Team.
• Assess the current state of the customer’s system security and identify vulnerabilities.
• Assist in analysis and mitigation of security vulnerabilities.
• Perform and report on penetration testing of systems, including cloud, per standards.
• Stay updated on attack vectors and exploitation methods.
• Provide support to incident response teams and reporting.
• Assist in maintaining Red Cell infrastructure.
• Develop or modify discovery/exploitation tools (bash, Python, JS, PowerShell).
