OPPORTUNITY ACADEMY in Holyoke, MA is seeking a Junior Custodian to open/secure buildings, monitor safety, perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance, and support grounds tasks. A High School Diploma or Trade School is preferred.

The role involves maintaining cleanliness, energy conservation, and assisting in inventory and supplies. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $17 to $19.25 per hour.

Qualificações

• High School/Trade School Degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Opens and secures buildings; inspects for safety and security, cleanliness, and fire hazards.
• Observes energy conservation measures.
• Determines and reports the need for maintenance and/or repair of machinery, equipment, and/or building/grounds.
• Maintains and operates heating, ventilation, refrigeration and air conditioning equipment/machinery.
• Cleans and/or lubricates tools and equipment.
• Replaces light bulbs, fluorescent bulbs, and fuses; replenishes supplies in restrooms.
• Performs normal custodial duties for Junior Building Custodians and related tasks as assigned.
