Job summary

Nutrien is seeking a sales-oriented professional to join Nutrien Ag Solutions in Idaho. You will partner with senior crop consultants to develop new prospects and increase sales of agricultural inputs, while ensuring customer satisfaction through timely delivery and high-quality products.

Responsibilities include advising growers, expanding with proprietary products, performing credit reviews, collecting receivables, and supporting the sales team to meet profit goals.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred; 5+ years agriculture experience acceptable.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

What You'll Do:

• Partner withSenior Crop Consultants to gain skills and understanding in the sale of agricultural inputs and customer interaction
• Develop new prospects and interact with existing growers to increase sales of agricultural inputs to meet and exceed sales goals. Manage sales to meet profit margin goals
• Assure customer satisfaction of products including, but not limited to on time and accurate delivery and quality of product
• Develop and implement strategies to increase the sales of proprietary products
• Consult with growers on agricultural issues and prescribe appropriate actions to resolve issues. Resolve issues associated with adverse product results
• Perform initial credit review of customers to understand credit risk. Provide necessary information to Credit Manager to choose credit limits
• Collect outstanding accounts receivables from customers
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring:

• University degree preferred, in lieu of degree, 5+ years agriculture experience and high school diploma or equivalent required
• Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
